The language of instruction in the Textile Development and Marketing Program is English. Students are required to have sufficient English proficiency in order to begin their studies. Therefore, students must take and successfully pass internationally recognized English proficiency exams such as TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or PTE (Pearson Test of English).
Students who are admitted to the program but fail to obtain the required scores in these language examinations will attend the English Preparatory School and receive intensive English language training. Students cannot begin the undergraduate program until they meet the language requirement.
Students are given a maximum of two years to fulfill the foreign language requirement. Students who fail to meet the requirement within two years will be dismissed from the university.
The validity period of TOEFL and PTE exam results is two years.
TOEFL iBT and PTE exam results obtained in Türkiye are only valid if the exams are taken at the test centers of STATE UNIVERSITIES.
